香港車廂常見問題
走走停停加上潮濕，為車廂污染提供溫床。連續幾天落雨後，冷氣一開就聞到霉味，高頻接觸位置變黏膩，早上車窗更容易起霧。濕透的雨傘、嬰兒車與鞋底把水分帶進地毯與座椅泡棉。奶茶或咖啡一旦灑漏，會沿著地毯下層擴散，天氣一熱便發酸。防曬在皮革、安全帶與觸控螢幕上留下薄膜，吸附灰塵並加速變色。建築微塵積聚在風口與濾芯內，如果沒有正確清潔與乾燥，車內空氣品質會迅速惡化。
完成之後的分別
最明顯的是開冷氣不再有霉味，而且過幾天也不會回來，因為異味的來源被清走，不是被蓋住。高頻接觸的位置不再黏手；車廂玻璃在夜晚不再散射對面車頭燈，早上也沒那麼容易起霧。地毯與座椅乾透之後，濕氣不會再把舊污漬的味道翻出來。深色飾件與螢幕上的防曬薄膜清掉之後，灰塵沒那麼容易附著。異味特別頑固的個案，可以加做車廂光觸媒除臭殺菌。
用什麼產品
全程使用 CarPro 的車廂系列：布料防護、內飾清潔、車廂玻璃、膠件與飾條護理，各有對應配方。重點是配方要配合材質。同一支強力萬用清潔劑用在鋼琴烤漆、Nappa 皮與 Alcantara 上面，只會留下洗不掉的痕跡。
皮革、Nappa 與 Alcantara
不同材質的容錯空間差很遠。塗層皮革最耐得住清潔，之後補一層可透氣的護理就可以。Nappa 怕水，只能以低水分的方式處理。Alcantara 與超纖麂皮最麻煩：太濕會留水痕、纖維會結板，原本的質感回不來。香港的溫度與濕度變化快，小小的處理失誤會被放大成看得見的瑕疵，所以這三種材質不會用同一套做法。
選購時應避免的陷阱
- 過度潤濕且未經除濕乾燥，在香港極易成為霉菌溫床。
- 在鋼琴烤漆、Nappa 或 Alcantara 上使用強效萬用清潔劑或溶劑。
- 以遮味代替根治：濃烈香精無法解決冷氣生物膜或地毯下滲漏。
- 髒工具交叉污染：重複使用帶油污毛巾擦皮革與螢幕。

What Hong Kong cabins actually suffer from
Stop-go traffic plus humidity is a greenhouse. After days of rain the air-con smells of mould, high-touch plastics feel tacky, and the glass fogs in the morning. Wet umbrellas, buggies and shoes soak carpets and foam. Spilled milk tea spreads under the carpet and sours in the heat. Sunscreen leaves a film on leather, belts and screens that holds dust. Construction dust loads the vents. Without a proper clean and dry, the cabin goes downhill fast.
What’s different afterwards
The obvious one: the air-con stops smelling, and it stays that way, because the source is gone rather than covered up. Touch points aren’t tacky any more. Interior glass stops scattering oncoming headlights at night, and fogs less in the morning. Once the carpets and seats are properly dry, humidity doesn’t bring old spills back. With the sunscreen film off the trim and screens, dust doesn’t settle as fast. For smells that won’t shift, the Air Catalytic cabin treatment can be added on.
What we use
CarPro throughout, with a different formula for fabric, plastics, interior glass, leather and rubber. The point is matching the product to the material. One strong all-purpose cleaner used on piano black, Nappa and Alcantara leaves marks you can’t undo.
Leather, Nappa and Alcantara
How much room for error you get depends on the material. Coated leather takes cleaning well and just wants a breathable conditioner after. Nappa doesn’t like water. Alcantara and suede are the fussy ones: too much moisture leaves water marks and mats the fibres, and the original texture doesn’t come back. Heat and humidity here magnify small mistakes, so these three don’t get treated the same way.
What to skip
- Soaking the cabin and not drying it. That’s a mould farm in this climate.
- Harsh all-purpose cleaner on piano black, Nappa or Alcantara.
- Perfume instead of a fix. Fragrance won’t kill the smell in the air-con or a spill under the carpet.
- Dirty towels on leather and screens. They leave a film that attracts dust.
