輪圈鍍膜 vs 煞車粉塵與海鹽空氣
香港對輪圈最苛刻：高含鐵煞車粉塵、潮濕，還有沿海鹽霧，久而久之會腐蝕、點蝕輪圈面漆。高品質輪圈鍍膜形成耐高溫、耐化學的保護層，讓污垢以起泡、沖洗就能帶走，無需大力刷洗。戶外或海邊停車場，鍍膜對鹽分與雨水礦物質的額外抵抗力，可減慢染色與腐蝕。
Nitro 的做法
玻璃
- 深度清潔，去除路膜與油污；針對性處理礦物斑點。
- 視需要機械拋光，修正雨刮霧化與細微刮痕。
- 酒精基底清潔劑徹底去殘留。
- 均勻施工 CarPro GForce；可選擇連側窗與後檔。
- 控制閃點時間；固化期間 12-24 小時內避免沾水／啟動雨刮，48 小時內避免使用清潔玻璃水。
輪圈
- 可輪不落地或落地施工（重煞車粉塵車輛建議落地）。
- 鐵粉清除劑、柏油去除劑、黏土；落地時同時處理內桶。
- 施工 CarPro DLUX 於外表；落地時覆蓋內桶、幅條背面、螺絲孔位與氣嘴周邊。
- 日後改用 pH 中性或平衡清潔劑。
選購時要避免的坑
- 前期處理不足或標榜「快進快出」。
- 把車漆鍍膜用在玻璃或輪圈，無法承受雨刮摩擦或煞車高溫。
- 施工當天就沾水或啟動雨刮。
- 強酸／強鹼售後建議。
- 「10H／12H 硬度」等浮誇宣稱。

A coated windscreen is a safety thing
In sudden rain, water beads and sheets off at speed, so you see earlier than wipers alone, especially in a typhoon band, coming out of a tunnel, or in glare. Smoother glass means less chatter and smearing at low speed. Traffic film, bugs and sap come off with less effort, which means fewer fine scratches and longer wiper life.
Wheels versus brake dust and salt air
Hong Kong is hard on wheels: iron-rich brake dust, humidity, and coastal salt that pits the finish. A heat-resistant wheel coating lets dirt foam and rinse off instead of being scrubbed in. Cars that live outside or by the sea stain more slowly, and you can use milder cleaners.
How we do it
Glass
- Deep clean to remove traffic film and oils; treat mineral spots.
- Polish if needed to take off wiper haze and fine scratches.
- Wipe with alcohol so the coating bonds to bare glass.
- CarPro GForce on the windscreen. Sides and rear are optional.
- Keep water and wipers off for 12-24 hours; skip washer fluid for 48 hours.
Wheels
- On the car, or off for heavy brake dust.
- Iron remover, tar remover, clay; inner barrel when the wheel is off.
- CarPro DLUX on the face, and the inner barrel, spoke backs, bolt holes and valves if the wheel is off.
- Neutral cleaners afterwards.
What to skip
- A “quick in and out” job with no real prep.
- Paint coating on glass or wheels. It won’t survive wipers or brake heat.
- Water or wipers on the day it’s applied.
- Aftercare that uses strong acids or alkalis.
- Hardness slogans instead of a real prep and cure plan.
